Maurice Gleeson : Actor & Voiceover Artist
Welcome to the online portfolio of Maurice Gleeson.
Maurice recently appeared in the RSC production of Martin McDonagh's THE LIEUTENANT OF INNISHMORE at the Garrick Theatre in London's West End (as understudy), and as the title role in BOOM BOOM MR GOAT (for which performance it was said "he is utterly professional and a pleasure to watch"). He has a good deal of TV experience playing Dr Vincent Laurence in 4 episodes of the Trinidadian soap 'Westwood Park', and more recently appearing in the feature film HEAR THE SILENCE for Channel 5. His stage performance covering 30 years in the life of a Derry father in 'Sticks & Stones' received the 'acting accolade' from the Irish Post, and his breadth of roles includes Henry IV, Poins, Feste, and a variety of disturbed yet loveable doctors, businessmen, husbands, burglars, poets and police officers.
